Comicpaper was a tool for publishing comics on the web. It focused on simplicity and elegance, and tried to shed some of the bloat and madness of its CMS brethren.
My main focus was to empower artists to share their work while maintaining control over access, sharing, and any financial transactions. I worked with a couple of excellent comic artists on building a tool to fit their needs, but ultimately we never arrived at quite the right thing.
Was “paper” the right thing all along?
